Auto-Empty Failed
Dreame: Base station will not empty the dustbin
Applies to: Dreame. Meanings can vary by model — trust the voice alert on your unit.
What causes it?
Dreame stations skip or fail dust collection when the dust-tank cover is open, the bag is missing or full, the collection ports are blocked, Dust Collection is off or blocked by Do Not Disturb in the app, or the signal window near the charging electrodes is dirty.
How to fix it
- Close the dust-tank cover and check the dust bag is fitted; replace it if full.
- Clear debris from the dust-collection ports on the robot, station, and dust box.
- In the Dreame app, enable Dust Collection and turn off or adjust Do Not Disturb.
- Wipe the window near the charging electrodes with a dry tissue.
- If emptying still fails with a new bag and clear ports, the station blower or air path needs repair.
