Cleaning Sink Full
Ecovacs: Cleaning sink full or will not drain
Applies to: Ecovacs Deebot. Meanings can vary by model — trust the voice alert on your unit.
What causes it?
On DEEBOT Omni stations (T20, T30, X1, X2, X5 Pro) dirty water should be pumped out of the cleaning sink into the dirty-water tank. When the tank does not seal, the sink suction nozzle is blocked, or the sink water-level sensors are dirty, the station either leaves water in the sink or alerts that the sink or dirty-water tank is full when it is empty.
How to fix it
- If the station indicator is flashing, unplug the station, reconnect it, then continue.
- Remove the dirty-water tank, clean and refit the sealing plugs, clean the lid sealing ring, and close the lid firmly.
- Reseat the tank, press it down, and use Exit or Return in the app to test whether dirty water recycles.
- If it still will not drain, take the robot off the station and clear debris from the cleaning-sink suction nozzle.
- If the sink is empty but still reports full, wipe the water-level sensors on both sides of the sink with a tissue.
- If it still fails with clean seals and a clear nozzle, the station pump or sensor needs repair.
