Quick answers

What is wrong?

Dolphin does not climb walls or move sideways on the waterline.

What you might notice

  • Will not climb
  • Slips on walls

Can I fix this myself?

Usually yes for cleaning/clearing. Difficulty: easy · about 10-20 min. If unsure or the fault returns, use mail-in repair.

What you need

  • Soft cloth
  • Garden hose

Do this

    • Keep water ~6–35°C (ideally above 15°C). Balance chemicals; scrub algae/biofilm. Disable Floor Only / Fast mode if set by mistake.
    • Clean filters (Ultra-Fine should rinse back toward white; else replace or try Net filters). Clear impeller debris.
    • If handle is adjustable, set it diagonally. Ensure enough floating cable to reach walls without yanking back — not excessive length.
    • If climbing still fails, request repair.

Parts (only if cleaning fails)

  • Filter media
