What you need
- None — pump running
Do this
- With pump running, lift each hose joint out of water and listen for air leaks; reseat/replace leaking sections.
- Tighten fittings at the pump; check pump-basket gasket.
- If hose is ruptured, replace hose sections. Request repair if head still weak.
