Quick answers
What is wrong?
Manta suction cleaner does not move or moves slowly.
What you might notice
- No movement
- Very slow crawling
Can I fix this myself?
Usually yes for cleaning/clearing. Difficulty: easy · about 10-20 min. If unsure or the fault returns, use mail-in repair.
What you need
- Pool Pulse (if available)
- Cloth
Do this
- Confirm main drain is closed. Clean pool filter and pump/skimmer baskets; backwash if needed.
- Measure suction with Pool Pulse on the far hose end — aim for ideal mid reading; adjust AD/FlowKeeper valve.
- Check diaphragm for damage/wear. Check for air in the system (falling pump-basket water level).
- In cold water (~60°F/15°C or less), increase flow slightly. If still dead, request repair.
Parts (only if cleaning fails)
- Diaphragm
