Quick answers
What is wrong?
Charging failure, or robot will not auto-return to the charging pile.
What you might notice
- Charging failure
- Pile red light
- Does not auto charge
Can I fix this myself?
Usually yes for cleaning/checking. Difficulty: easy · about 10-20 min. If unsafe or unresolved, use mail-in repair / authorised service.
What you need
- Soft clean cloth
Do this
- Confirm robot power/key switch allows charging; check charger/adapter indicator is on.
- Place pile against a flat wall on dry floor with ~100 cm front / 50 cm side clearance; keep pile in its mapped position.
- Use only one correct adapter (3.5A/8A/15A per model table). Blue=standby, green=charging/docking, red=abnormal — disconnect if red persists.
- Wipe pile and robot charge plates with a soft clean cloth (every few weeks on CC1).
- Enable Auto charging in settings only after the pile location was set during mapping. If still failing, contact Pudu support.
Parts (only if cleaning fails)
- None for a basic check
