Dock will not wash the mop (tanks + water filter)

Where to look: Mop cloth under the robot; clean/dirty tanks; water filter in the dock wash sink.

After mopping, the dock does not wash the mop. Official Ultra steps require job-started-from-dock, tank seating, and a correctly click-locked water filter — not just an app Wash tap.

Quick answers

What is wrong?

After mopping, the dock does not wash the mop. Official Ultra steps require job-started-from-dock, tank seating, and a correctly click-locked water filter — not just an app Wash tap.

What you might notice

  • Mop still dirty after docking
  • No wash cycle
  • Water tank warnings

Can I fix this myself?

Often yes with careful cleaning. Difficulty: medium · about 15-35 min. If unsure or it returns after parts cleaning, use mail-in repair.

What you need

  • Clean water
  • Soft dry cloth

Do this

    • Mop wash only runs if mopping was used. Start the job from the dock; keep the dock on the app map; do not move the dock mid-clean.
    • Fill/seat clean-water tank; empty/seat dirty-water tank.
    • Remove the water filter, rinse it, wipe the cleaning tank, reinstall until it clicks.
    • Start Wash from the app (or the dock wash control while docked).
    • If wash still never starts with tanks and filter correct, request dock pump/valve repair.

Parts (only if cleaning fails)

  • Mop cloth
  • Dock water filter
  • Dock wash pump (service)
