Can I fix this myself?
Usually yes for cleaning/clearing. Difficulty: easy · about 10-20 min. If unsure or the error returns, use mail-in repair.
What you need
- Soft dry cloth
Do this
- Confirm the base is powered (cord + rear switch) and firmly connected.
- Give about 1.5 m clear in front and 0.5 m on each side; clear the return path; do not move the base mid-clean.
- Clear stuck side/roller brushes; clean wheel rubber treads; free a stiff swivel wheel.
- Check the small auxiliary wheel under the dirty-water tank is present.
- Manually dock to charge if needed. If it still fails, request repair.
