Quick answers

What is wrong?

Roller brush stuck / overcurrent alert — often hair, reverse-installed sleeve, or high-pile rugs.

What you might notice

  • Roller brush stuck alert
  • Weak pickup / noise
  • Error only on thick rugs

Can I fix this myself?

Usually yes for cleaning/clearing. Difficulty: easy · about 10-20 min. If unsure or the error returns, use mail-in repair.

What you need

  • Scissors or cleaning tool
  • Soft cloth

Do this

    • Test on hard floor. If the error only happens on a high-pile rug, set a no-go zone for that rug.
    • Remove the roller brush and clear hair (including end grooves). Check the sleeve and rubber are installed the correct way around (reversed ends can cause stuck/overcurrent).
    • Gently rotate the silver metal shaft/bearing; if it binds or the bearing is damaged, request repair/replacement.
    • Reinstall and retry. If it still faults, request repair.

Parts (only if cleaning fails)

  • None for a basic clean
